So I built the tool I wished I had: one link for the client, a clean checklist of what's needed, and a timestamped record of every approval. No login. No friction. No chaos.

    • Do my clients need to create an account?

      No. Clients open a single link and immediately upload, comment, or sign off. Their actions are tied to the email you invited them with — no password, no app to install.

    • How does the audit trail work?

      Every upload, comment, view, and approval is timestamped and tied to the person who took the action. You can export the full history as a PDF or CSV at any time.

    • Can I use my own brand on client portals?

      Yes. Add your logo and brand colors so portals feel like part of your studio. Custom email sender and custom domain are on the roadmap.

    • What file types and sizes does Approvella support?

      Images, video, PDFs, design files, ZIPs — anything up to 50 MB per file. Preview generation runs automatically for common formats.

    • Is Approvella legally binding for sign-offs?

      Every sign-off is captured with a timestamp, the client's email, and a full audit log of who did what and when. A dedicated e-signature step is on our roadmap for teams that need formal, legally-binding approvals.

    • Can I migrate from a tool I already use?

      Yes — just drag your existing project files into a new portal and invite your clients. Setup takes a couple of minutes. If you're moving from another tool and want a hand, reach out and we'll help you get set up.

    • How does pricing work as my team grows?

      Plans are priced per workspace, not per client — clients are always unlimited. Approvella is free during early access, and you'll be able to pick a plan that fits your team once paid plans go live.

    • Do you offer a free trial?

      Approvella is free during early access — no credit card, no commitment. We'll give you plenty of notice before any paid plans kick in.

    • Where is my data stored and how is it protected?

      Approvella runs on encrypted infrastructure — all files are encrypted at rest and in transit. You can delete a project (and everything in it) permanently at any time.
